Reading the thread above i got a trial at a line service, but just wondering what benefits something like this gives us as cappers? How does it benefit you? (vs a free one like SBRlines)

I like the halftime stat features here. The running clock is great too.

I always set timers for every game when they go to the break. 12M for NFL. CFB. 20 Minutes 15M for CFB.

I take 2 minutes off the real time so, I know I have a slight cushion.

First off, SBRlines are not Live Odds...I believe that they are about 5 mins behind..

SportsOptions is Live, or as some will say, only a delay of about 1min.
This is Key, when trying to get the Best Line...That is, If you have more than 1 Out. ( which you should have )

*Also, Watching the Line move...as it is being Bet

Up to the Min Injuries ( sometimes before the Line Moves ) So Very Important............

Steam Alerts, Injury Alerts, Notices when a Player gets hurt During the game. Ump info, Weather report, a Ton of Books listed, Stats, etc...etc...
ALL on SportsOptions.

Just my 2 1/2 cents (<)<

Not nearly as valuable as it might have been with Neteller, IMO.

However, I never have used one.

The screen watching days(steam chasing) are about over. If you have outs that are on the screen(real-time), then it is a useful tool. If you hammer openers(CRIS & GREEK), it is a MUST!

I find it valuable. It has made me money already. I have been trying a system with pubic % and it has been good to me. I need to tweak it some

The only debate is whether to use an off the shelf service or pay a programmer to build your own truly live one. There are different degrees of programmers and servers and I am convinced (though I dont know) you can get more live than the commercial services if you serve only yourself..

Anyways, not having a line service is insane.

In the old days a delay of several minutes was OK for the most part. Obviously those days are long since over.

I long ago wrote my own program to scrape the sites, and found I never had a problem with the books for the most part. Pinnacle and MB provide xml feeds, and ask you keep your hits down to once/minute. Also helps to randomize things to make it look like a real person is talking to their website.

The issue I always encounter with following the pack (>80%), is that this always leans to the heavy favorite.
