I am not watching the game, but the stats say 2-7 for 21 yards...Seems like old Gibby is trying to mix it up a bit...even with Portis running fairly well with 7 carries for 33 yards....I say that is PERFECT, let him pass more pleaassse....lol.

One of my Key Negatives for the Skins was...

4. WR's for the Skins are struggling as well with consistancy...they are making good catches, but also dropping them as well...Seems they will need more time learning their new secondary role this year under Gibbs conservative style of Offense
I guess the WRs are going to continue the trend...

If that happens...the skins are in trouble as that is NOT Gibbs style of ball...He totally believes in running it and letting his running game dictate the game...Parcell believes in this to, but hes a little different then Gibbs in the fact that he understands whats going on with his team and made adjustments to work around it, hence the opening up of the passing game...

Dallas has a better shot also because this is Gibbs first year and has tried to build his team around Portis and the run...whereas Parcells had last year and previous years with Vinny, to work with and know what he got....Dallas running game though is averaging right now. 4 ypc...with 5 attempt for 20 yards....Hope this continues cause that would make our chances even better.

I'm a little shocked that Washington isn't trying to run more. It's all good, as long as that clock doesn't move. Need a coupld more TDs before the half (preferrably one by da Boys).

I hear ya! Brunell was already a marginal QB when he was healthy. Now he's in big trouble. Over might have problems if Washington doesn't get into the endzone....:think:

I think Gibbs maybe out thinking himself with continuing to go to the pass...as Portis is averaging 5 ypc so far....Hes fortunate though that Dallas is not capitalizing on their good field positions.
