I'll vouch for Sharky, even though he is Canadian!

He has proxied for me and is honest as the day is long. When I failed to call him with my picks, he would make sure to pursue me. I believe he has represented 10-20 guys in the past, including the winner in 2006. PM me and I will pass along phone and e-mail, if you want.

Is it open to anyone? Or do you need a reference?

I would love to get in this.

It is open to anyone who wants to put up $1500 + proxy fees, and go against the best handicappers in the world.

I have a good proxy is you want to PM me. Actually, I could give you two since I don't know if mine is taking any more players.

You realize that you have to be in Vegas for the sign up in late August or early Sept. You have to meet with your proxy and sign him up as such.

Whats the going rate for a proxy? Set fee + % of the winnings?

yes that's right bird, I've noticed more guys lowballing to get started...etc...and I've seen some charge $400-500 and a percentage.....I stand but what I do, I have a good rep on therx and some other sites because I've been proven to be reliable, trustworthy and a solid capper in different sports over time. Regardless of what I charge, the networking part of it is the best in my mind bcause we all have our specialties and share good information periodically without ruining the integrity of the contest plays given in a particular sport.

Whoever you decide to go with make sure you trust them 100% before getting involved, I have a one pager I have drawn up detailing responsibilities for both parties....Make sure the person you deal with is not an average joe bcause I know of 2 major horror stories in recent yrs that have caused a stir, one happened last yr where one of the hilton winners had me as a proxy again but chose to go with a friend for the Leroy's stuff, ok mistake was made which cost him a point on 3 cards, the game he picked won and the game the proxy picked lost....In addition to that remember the cancelled game(ie..Balt), they cancelled it Saturday, the Leroy's deadline was Saturday evening. I called my guys and gave them an option to change it and went down and made the changes, well past hilton winner's proxy doesn't know of the cancellation, they dont communicate and get a zero for the game.....Look human errors happen but if you choose to go with someone who doesn't emerse themselves in this sports stuff, the odds are greater in my opinion that you have a bad experience....get my e-mail from one of the mods if you want to contact me directly

Anyone wanting to contact Sharky99.

You have two options:

1. PM him and give him your email address and ask him to contact you about a proxy arrangement.

2. Email me at person19481950@yahoo.com Title the email Sharky99 Proxy Request. In the body write your message but be sure to include your Rx.com poster name so Sharky knows who he is dealing with. I will simply forward the entire email to the email address Sharky99 has on file in our data base and back off from then on.

The Rx.com is not responsible in anyway regarding private and personal arrangements made between posters. We are not able to settle disputes should they arise during or after the contest.

Anyone having trouble with their PMs:

How do I send Private Messages?

Private messages work a little like email, but are limited to registered members of this forum. You may be able to include BB code, smilies and images in private messages that you send.

You may send a private message to a member of this forum by clicking the 'Send A Private Message' link in the private messaging section of your user control panel (more info), or by clicking the 'SendPM' button in a member's posts.

When you send a message, you have the option to save a copy of it in your 'Sent Items' folder.

How do I work with Private Message Folders?

By default, you will have two folders in your private message area. These are the 'Inbox' and the 'Sent' Items folders.

The 'Inbox' folder contains any new messages you receive. It allows you to view all the messages you have received, along with the name of the person who sent it, and the date and time it was sent.

The 'Sent Items' folder contains a copy of any messages that you have sent, where you have specified that you wish to keep a copy for future reference.

To enable PMs use your USER CP function top left of any forum page - open up USER CP and click on Edit Options. The rest is self explanatory.

Thanks, wilheim
