I found this here place because of a horse racing tout I followed. He wanted to be sure if anything bad happened we could still get his picks and this was one of the places he listed. So I visited out of curiousity and became hooked.

my roomate's dad is a big-time gambler and he told his son about the site (for him it was more just entertainment than getting picks though...he had his own plays and would never let anybody on this board influence him)...when i started gambling my roomate helped me setup my first sportsbook account and then told me about this place.
i've been a lurker but eventually i decided i wanted in on the free contests since i think i can win some of them. figures that i get 2nd place on the first one i (try) to enter but don't qualify for the winnings since i didn't have enough posts. :/

To answer the question, I was a member of SHF and then they wanted to charge to see their picks (which were not that good to begin with). Someone mentioned this site and I never went back. I still get emails from Ralph saying "So and So is on fire join and see".It brings me a chuckle as the RX's worst cappers are better than their best..
This site has brought me endless entertainment and info. No need to look anywhere else. :toast:

Was not long after I started working for a book when a collegue pointed out that there was a decent site for gamblers to talk about different game, betting strategies and share info etc so I figured I would take a look.
I ended up checking in every few days or so, lurking for something like 3 years before finally decding to sign up...though as you can see, I dont really post that often but even now I check in every few days still...

The person said, No really Call the "Office".....So I called and they Confirmed it. And Told me that there are People on ThePrescription talking about it.
I said What the Fuk is ThePrescription ?? They told me what it was, so I went to check it out. Sure enough there was a Thread talking about him.
I think I signed up and made one post. Then just Lurked, until I finally re-signed up 2+ years ago.
Since then, I guess I got Hooked. Not a Bad thing !
