I just don't see it unless they get a special teams TD. That may happen since Roth does some dumb things with the ball when the blitz is on. And it will be on!! But Pitt Defense can't possibly give up that many points to a rookie QB, no WRs, and a below average o-line and running game.

Thoughts are appreciated.

below avg. O-line and running game??

You definitely missed the first two games.

defense may get one TD by themselves

Their competition in those first 2 sucked.

I won't take anything away from their defense but come on now. Their offense sucks.

cash$ just a few cold hard facts about this match up:

Balt 190 avg ry
Pitt 65 avg ry against
Pitt 110 avg ry
Balt 69 avg ry against

Balt has only played 2 games but they have given up only 1 total sack, on the other hand Pitt has surrendered a league high 14 in 3 games and both D's are avg 3.5 sacks a game.

Balt has been running the ball an average of 45 times per game while piling up the best top at over 37 minutes on avg in the two games they played. this game had some value when the line came out at 7 but it has been beat down all the way to 4 -113 currently at pinny. I think the same way you are about this game but current stats certainly don't concur and keep in mind that the ravens games were both div rivals while Pitt throttled Houston barely beat Cleavland ( I know the weather was bad but Clev played in the same shit) then got clobbered by Philly.

My opinion on this one is stay clear for me, there's better games out there with less questions. gl whatever you decide, Tom

Reasons stated above and Pitt injuries are why I won't take Pitt minus the points. Rookie QB and coach on the road is why I won't take Balt + the points. Pitt won't score much with that o-line, Balt shouldn't score much either. But if one offense will score, it will be Pitt at home with aveteran QB and decent wrs. Maybe the under is the best bet. I just hate taking the under on Monday night. Especially this year.

So I am still leaning Balt TT under 14.5.

The fact that it's set at 14.5 speaks volumes to me. Wouldn't be dropping the hammer on that one by any means..

I saw that in your thread. My only problem is that they are at home. If Roth has the least bit of time, he can launch one to any of his wrs.

Why Pitt under and not Balt under? The o-line?
