I know the pros are that much better than the best college team but are you guys serious? OU can at least get 1 score can't they? Most people say 90-0 and 70-0 but I think OU or any other team like Texas or Florida can put up 7 points at least.

How could OU score? How many guys starting on offense will this OU squad put in the NFL? 4? This is a case of future coaches, teachers, managers, etc lining up against current NFL players, lol.. The trenches would be a huge mismatch, special teams a disaster for OU.. Come on, be for real.. I could see some first downs for OU.

A few people here have argued with me on this point, but I believe OU's offense will put 7 players in the NFL. Duke Robinson and Loadholt on the line (I'm being conservative here), RB Demarco Murray, WR's Johnson & Iglesias, TE jermain Grisham, and QB Bradford...And OU's defensive ine is very underrated. They were the only line that was able to get to Harrell and sack him all season. Texas hearled DL couldn't do it..And I believe OU will have at least two players go NFL off of this line. Maybe more.

Anybody remember the old College Allstar Game? The one where the College allstar seniors played the NFL Superbowl champions from the previous year. They ended this game back in the 70's. But I can tell you that most of the years that I remember, the NFL champions made this an annual beatdown of the college players..And this was basically before the NFL teams had put their starting roster together. If it was the regular season it would probably be a 70-0 game...In other words, they don't compare with each other. Not in modern day football.

Add Trent Williams and Chris Brown from the offense.

I do wonder how many TD passes the NFL will allow Gresham to drop before he ends up in the Arena League.

Dropping passes is Gresham's big bugaboo. But he's like Brandon Pettigrew of OSU, he likes to knock the shit out of people. And NFL teams drool over TE's that aren't afraid to hit like offensive lineman.

OK so OU has 11 that will eventually get to the NFL (thats best case), its not 11. Give an NFL team 1 weak spot, thats a disaster. Give them 4, ouch! Thats a complete beat down imo..

This aint the 70s where college kids are that much smaller than pro - esp on the lines.

Detroit would win, but I don't think it would be a blow out. It sounds crazy, but the disparity betw top level college teams and lower level pro teams is shinking.

A legit line would or should be...

something like Detroit -21 or so imo...7 offensive contributors in the NFL for OUis optimistic, much less starters...they'd be playing a team w/11, that's certain.

Give me the 2001 Miami Hurricanes team and they could do it even though they have a bunch of NFL-pro bowlers now from that team

With the exception of a few rare token WR's and RB's that come into the league, rookies absolutely get killed in their first year in the NFL. It's a big step up for even the best players..I don't care which team it is. All you have to do is look at all of the great college players that get waived every year to know how tough it is to make it in the league. The biggest difference an OU or a Miami team of the past would find out is that EVERYBODY is fast and strong in the NFL. Not just a chosen few. The team speed would eat these teams alive.. I would take Detroit right now and give at least 28 points to even the best college team and not sweat it.

It would be AT LEAST 58-0. How can anybody even think the best college team can play with the worst pro team? They would get absolutely destroyed on the line of scrimmage.
