Wanted to post a couple now as I think the numbers won't be available much longer, but going to hold off on a few as I am almost positive I can get better numbers the longer I wait. Going forward most of the plays will be on the larger size as I pretty much know the teams inside out, and any game I play is a line that I feel is pretty well off.

4 Units

Purdue -3 -110

Will also have plays on West Virginia, Bradley, and most likely Siena.

this is extremely rare for me. I almost never lay this many points on the road no matter how much I like the play. There will be maybe 2 or 3 times a year when I play a road favorite like this. I think this is an extremely strong play. I watched Penn St at home against Northwestern last week and was not impressed. I think Purdue's defense can shut them down completely, but I will get more into this later. Just wanted to post this now as 3 is about as many as I will lay on the road

Want to thank-you for the Notre Dame game tonite ...a well needed 4 units , for sure you are one of the good guys. Just a note for thought ..i noticed a few on Kent St. tonite ....you are right something just isn't right about that team. I believe that makes about eight games in a roll they have not covered against the spread.

Penn St lost to Temple at home. 'Nuff said. I would love to see this line drop more but hard to see that being the case. Only problem with this game I have is that Purdue is only playing their 2nd road game of the year. That is enough to keep me away unless for some reason the line keeps moving in our favor. Not sure I will have any plays tomorrow in our head to head matchup. Got lucky with a comeback by Eastern Kentucky to stay tied with you after one day.:toast:

The Purdue spread doesn't make a lot of sense to me. Why are they only 2.5 point favorites against a mediocre Penn St. team? My initial thought was to pound this game, but I think I'm going to go small or lay off.

Anyone have an idea why the spread is so low?

line is about right. purdue coming off home loss to illinois. penn st gawdy record coming off home win. teams performance in their last game hold a lot of weight

Nice win for both of us on ND as they never lose at home.

I agree on Purdue and West Virginia. What do you think about Alabama +14.5 at Clemson? Clemson is undefeated, but Alabama has alot of talent.

I think laying 3.5 with WVU is a tough one. If you can't find a better line than that, I would tread very lightly

I was at the ND game tonight. They do play well at home, hit more FTs hit more 3s etc. The problem that ND has had this year is rebounding and giving up a lot of offensive boards. G-Town shot very poorly and couldn't hit FTs at all. That cover was not as easy as it looked on paper. Harangody carried this team once again. Don't go nuts on the 24th when UConn comes to town.

They gave ND a run last year, and for my money I would take ND's defense in 2007-08 season over this years in a heartbeat.

Thabeet was able to take Harangody out of that game. If I remember correctly McAlarney was able to drop 35 to win that game for the Irish.

This is the reason why the line is low.

Purdue may play its Big Ten road opener at Penn State Tuesday night without two of its most important players.

Coach Matt Painter said Monday that neither sophomore Robbie Hummel nor junior Chris Kramer have practiced since last week’s overtime loss to Illinois.

Hummel has been plagued by a long-standing back problem that’s progressively worsened; Kramer has a sprained foot.

“I always go into (games thinking) if guys don’t practice, they’re not going to play unless they’ve told me otherwise,” Painter said. “Neither of those guys have practiced.”
