South Florida -4.5

The Bulls get a huge boost Sunday when transfers Mike Mercer, and Augustus Gilchrist regain eligibility. With the addition of these 2 talented players the Bulls are all of a sudden loaded with talent. If you recall Mike Mercer from Georgia where he averaged 13.6ppg. With his addition he will join an already loaded So Florida backcourt. He will give So Fla 3 legit scoring threats, to go along with Dominique Jones(18.5ppg), and Jesus Verdejo(17.2ppg). This is will now become quietly one of the better back courts in the Big East. Also the addition of 6'10 freshman Augustus Gilchrist will give the Bulls some much needed help in the paint. So Fla still out rebounds opponents by +2 because guards such as Jones rebounds so well, but Gilchrist's big body will help. He is an athletic player who should help right away. This could be a blessing in disguise for the Bulls as players were able to gain valuable game experience in their absence. Mercer is an excellent scorer with all league potential. Also their opponent Niagra has struggled against teams that play defense. Their 2 losses, Nova, Akron, are both teams that dig in on defense. The same can be said for So Fla. The Bulls hold opponents to 59.2ppg and only 38% fg def. So Fla will have more talent top to bottom, so I also expect them to hold an advantage on the boards where the Purple Eagles can be exploited. So Fla is also 3-0 at home this year. They historically have been a much better team at home, and the additions of the 2 transfers should give them a big enough boost to get an easy win

Good Luck, Homedawg!

My sport of choice which I handicap myself, football, is today. Thank goodness! Especially after what I experienced yesterday! :ohno:

In early NFL games, I am playing: Atlanta -3, Kansas City +6, UNDER 41 San Francisco-Miami 41

Well, I still need my NCAA hoops fix! :lolBIG:

So I turn to you to lead me to the winner's circle!

To that end, I am tailing you on this play. :aktion033 I just bet the South Florida Bulls -4.5 at The Greek!

Go Bulls! :toast:

-4.5

Quick question.

What are your takes on UTEP +2 over New Mexico State? Gonzaga -5 over Arizona?

Thanks, and best of luck today! :toast:

Thanks for all your insight on the NCAA bb. I follow it very closely myself and would bet it before any other sport. Your research is very thorough and I look for game takes everyday. Best of luck to you Dawg but please give it up on that pissass Oregon team, something is out of sync out there and it looks unfixable.:103631605:toast:

trust me I am done with them. it was the only time I bet on them this season though. i was against them last game with KST, and they burned me. I just thought with the think SD roster, and the return of Dunigan they would be ok. Obviously not!

Any insight on the taking of Arizona +6.5 ... I mean Gonzaga looks nearly one of the best teams in the country and don't see them slowing down against Arizona. Just wondering, usually tail you man, just wanted to know any reasoning.

Arizona +6.5

As invincible as the Zags may seem, to lay 6.5 to talented Arizona team on the road is basically a gift. I know the game is being played in Phoenix, but this is basically a home game for the Cats. If their is one weakness with the Zags they don't have that big bodied banger. Jordan Hill should have a big day. Shroom boy is a very good player with size, but he doesn't have that bulky body that likes to bang. Even on offense he likes to face up. Jordan Hill is averaging more than 18 and 12 and should give the Zags fits in the post. Budinger is a great team leader who if extremely efficient on the offensive end, and can score with anyone. Nic Wise is also a solid point guard. With his play making ability it gives the Cats good inside outside balance. He leads the team who shoots at a very high percentage. 52% is one of the highest in the country. it shows just how efficient they are. Arizona players they aren't supposed to win this game. When talented players are told they don't have a chance they tend to step up their games. I am looking for just that. 6.5 points, on your turf is a gift

Sounds familiar, same thing you said about giving 5 to the cougs at home. I'm just saying, don't get burned by the zags again

Thank You Very Much!

Sportsnetwork called for the Niagara win. Check the writeups before you make a play they're pretty consistent.

Thank you so very much, HighFlyinKilla! :toast:

I've been basing my bets solely on the writeups that Homedawg has laboriously put together, but I think it's about time to have a different perspective/look at these games.

It certainly can't hurt to check out the SportsNetwork writeups each day.

Again, thanks! :aktion033
