I know I have mentioned this before but Ark St. is another game we would have won had we played them at the half. It really seems like a disproportionate number of our losses come in the 2nd half. Is anyone else noticing this trend? Also it doesn't seem like we have a lot of comebacks in the 2nd half. I know there was one last sat, but it's the only one i can recall. HD any thought on 1st half plays?

i know this year especially, even the first month of 2 of the season I was covering a lot of games at half. i am actually going to go out and say I have been covering 70% of games at half. The only problem is it is a 40 min game. I have a few ideas behind that. I play A LOT of home teams. Usually they come out fired up. I also play a lot of dogs. Same thing they come out fired up until eventually the better teams comes out ahead. However there is nothing I do that caps games in halves. It is all just statistics and for as many games I have blown after looking good at half, there has been years where I was down at half only to come back in the 2nd half. Plus I am still over 53% on the year. It is 1.5% below where I would like to be, but not alarming enough to warrant a change, especially when comparing my statistics to the past 5 years. This just happens to be a year where I am hitting slightly below average, and have been covering in the 1st half etc. I am as confident as ever in my stuff and I know if I keep on grinding I will come out ahead once again, if not this year then over the long run, which is the most important thing anyways.

Anyways for those of you that may follow I know it's frustrating, but if you use strict money management there is no way you should be down on the year. Surely I would like to be up more on the season, but as long as I am not having to reload my books it will be fine, if not this year then the next.

Thanks for the reply. I've said it before and will say it again that of all the sites I've been to you are one of the most dedicated posters out there. As i mentioned before I know next to nothing about CBB but have been tailing you since around the 2nd week religiously using the same number of units as you although probably much much smaller per unit. I'm keeping the faith and good luck in the future.

P.S. i can't wait to see your Baseball picks. It's my favorite sport to bet and I have a system I've been working on that has been pretty successful in the past.

i would def be very interested in hearing about your system. just like cbb it's strictly capping for me with mlb. those are the only 2 sports i wager on seriously cause I think they are the only 2 that can be beat. I have had some bigger years wagering cbb, but much more consistent with mlb. the peaks and valley are far greater in cbb for me. mlb is more of a straight line year for year. i did post my plays here last season. if you have time and are up for it pm your system if you like. i'm always interested in hearing some alternate ideas. their is a small system i use for totals, but it doesn't put out a lot of plays and i more or less use it as a guide. i have had 2 very successful years with totals since i started it though.
