let's try to grab some dough today. there's NEVER golf during the week for me, sad to say...
R4: chapagne now. i've been suckered before with hoffmans' firsters, but i will gamble with her in a race that looks pretty loaded. kind lena may use her experience edge to just bury these, and la croix's first timer, beach pizza has been training well. layer on top of that, a firster from the always dangerous paco gonzalez barn, with pval and you must get value on anyone you back. at 12/1 on the m/l and the longest shot in the field, i'll gamble.
r6: tucked away. not much separates these fillies and i'll support the outside post and tucked away. she's a very generous 6/1 on the m/l in here, due in large part b/c the pace just fell apart last time in her maiden win. she gives every indication of a good horse who is improving so i'll make her my pick.
race 7: gabriellina giof. hit the pick 6 when she won her stateside debut two years ago, and she was my single that day. not a whole lot has gone right for this mare since then, but she's coming fof the bench for hall of famer mcanally and think the races sets up very well for a late runner with knoll lake, walt's warf, belleski, coney kitty, and icantgoforthat all winging on the lead. i have a feeling belleski will need a start and hoping naknak can find room when they bunch up turning for home.
r8: stalking tiger. aguirre is a master with debut runner and this field isn't going to scare anybody. the ones who have run have shown some ability, but i'll take a swing with almeida in the irons, at a price.
