gotta think uconn is still pub play..........
reverse line movement????????

That's what I'm thinking. I read somewhere earlier that 62% was on UCONN. I don't know if that's still true, but if it is, I love my Pitt +3' bet even more now. I would never bet against a false line move.

Why do people act like they know how to read lines? That drives me crazy.

I'm certainly no expert at 'reading' lines, but if the majority of the money is on one side and Vegas moves the line in the opposite direction, I'm not going to ignore that. Like I said, I would never want to bet against a false line move. Another angle that usually holds up, as far as lines go, is going with the unranked fave over the ranked dog. Over the years that has been very profitable. Again, it's Vegas suckering people into taking the 'better' team because they are getting points.

So are you saying you always win when you see "line movement", you avoid the trapps?

Not at all. There are definitely times when it doesn't work. But I firmly believe that there are games where Vegas tries to sucker people into taking one side over the other. And I don't always play a game based purely on line movement. But there have been many times where I've backed off a play based on the movement, and more often than not it turns out to be a good thing that I laid off.

Like I said, not trying to say I'm some expert at reading lines at all. Hell, I'm not an expert at anything. :):)
