public all over colts and line dropping
Hello hello...
Riddle me this: If the betting public is all over the Colts then why did the line move from Colts -7 to Colts -6??
Maybe its just me but in my humble opinion I think the public perception is that the Jags are the more physical team that historically has always given the Colts problems, couple that with the fact that the Jags won the earlier season meeting...
...and POOF the public comes to the conclusion that the Jags are going to waylay the Colts in this heated divisional rivalry.
I wouldn't be all that surprised if a couple of hours prior to game time we start to see some Colts -5.5's out there, however, I'll bet you a dollar to a donut that just prior to kickoff the sharps pound the Colts in this one...
Take care and be well my friends...

Look anywhere you want-- Majority of the money is on the colts at about a 68+% clip.
I know its not as accurate as sportsinsights, but I use vegasinsider to get a reasonable feel where the betting public is at.

You tell me, looks like everyone is on the Colts yet the line continues to drop.
Though there is some merit to what Broke is saying, this may be a trap for wanna-be smart/sharp bettors.
Based on live movement, where the money is, and mostly the fact that this is a division rival game home dog at +5/+6, Jax would love nothing more than to beat the Colts tonight, hell this is probably the most meaningful game left on their schedule, I think they come out, play hard, and keep it close.
broke, what do you think of the idea that a week before Christmas the books have put out a "gift" line on the publicly favoured Colts? I'm not saying I think this is what's happening necessarily, just wondering what you think - because I've heard people say they think that happens sometimes . . .
