For openers, the two Senators from my Lib Loving State.

Lieberman, a man I disagree with on a majority of issues is a straight shooter.

Dodd, as Left as you get, a man I disagree with on virtually every position. But Dodd stands up and says I'm liberal & proud. He too doesn't lie about issues. I can respect opposing view points, I hate all the political deceit.

One of my best friends is as articulate & well reasoned in debate as any liberal I've ever met.

On this board, Judge, QL, Cuss, X, Woof, KTV are all left leaning (I think) and have all made reasoned arguments. Even you have had moments :thumbsup:, although you do display a temper on occasions.


PS: This list is not intended to be all inclusive and I'm sure I've left many well reasoned lefties off this list. For the sake of forum decorum, I will not name the scores of loonies flying around here.

He actually has a very liberal voting record in every respect except the war. He tries to take reasoned positions in debates, showing respect for his opponent. I think we need more politicians like Joe on both sides of the isle.
