NEW The grieving parents walked on stage together as Mothers of the Movement - a group who have been campaigning against gun violence and racism at the hands of police since the deaths of their children. They all urged voters to back Hillary Clinton, as she 'isn't afraid to say Black Lives Matter'. Tony Goldwyn, who plays President Grant in the ABC hit series Scandal and works with the Innocence Project, introduced the six women to the stage. Their remarks brought the crowd at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia to a standstill.

Where were the families of the murdered police officers? Why didn't Hillary give them a voice? This BLM movement is just as sickening as Clinton and Obama.

Convention appropriately named, the DNC is one huge abortion.

Dims as usual pandering to anybody and everybody for votes. The Dims don't give a shit about blacks, hispanics, the poor, none of them. It's all about votes and the dimwits on the left buy into it.

One look at the emails coming out shows you exactly what they think about all these people they supposedly care about.

You go, Girls!!!!
Funny how no one on the right was questioning why there was no BLM representation at the RNC, except out on the street, protesting. The shooting and harassment of innocent Blacks by a segment of Police, IS a real problem that needs to be better addressed, as is the problem of Innocent Police being targeted by a segment of angry Black citizens.
Truth is, both parties pander to those who think they will get votes from, and don't give fair representation, to those who they write off. I'd love an RNC where BLM is fairly represented, a DNC where Police are better represented. That's not where we are, and just another reason why I'm not voting for either.

I must correct myself. That'll teach me to rely on slanted, Biased Right Wingers to say the truth, since I'm watching very little of the DNC. There was a Police Chief who spoke in front of the DNC, in addition to the BLM Moms. Good job DNC at fair representation. Too bad the RNC wasn't as fair minded.

Full Transcript: Pittsburgh police Chief Cam McLay addresses DNC

UPDATED 11:33 PM EDT Jul 26, 2016

Man faces federal charges, up to 30 years in prison for

SHOW TRANSCRIPT

PHILADELPHIA —The following transcript was provided by the 2016 Democratic National Convention Committee of Pittsburgh police Chief Cameron McLay's speech to the convention:

"Our colleagues across America — our brothers and sisters in blue — are doing the hardest job in the world. At the start of every shift, they go out without knowing what dangers await. And yet, there is a crisis — especially in the eyes of too many communities, particularly communities of color — a crisis of trust in police and the criminal justice system.

"Crime rates have been falling for decades, but research shows that public trust in police is eroding in too many places. Dr. Martin Luther King said, "True peace is not the absence of tension; it is the presence of justice." Our communities are arguably far safer than ever. However, absent a sense of justice, less crime in your neighborhood is a hollow victory.

"The controversial officer-involved shootings since Ferguson have created great tension between police and our communities. At the same time, throughout this nation, efforts are underway to improve relationships.

"In Pittsburgh, we are doing this hard, but critical work. We have open lines of communication with our community partners. In our city, we recognize our interdependency, and are working closely together to reduce violence and make sure our residents feel safe and respected.

"But things are fragile. Two police shootings on two consecutive days, in Minnesota and Louisiana, left many understandably outraged. And the assassination of eight police officers in 10 days have those of us in the law enforcement community rightly feeling under assault.

"All of these concerns are real. Without question, the criminal justice system has a disparate impact on communities of color, and society is asking more of our police officers than ever before. Laid at the doorstep of police are declining economic opportunities, insufficient resources for mental health, and the lack of drug treatment options.

"As a police officer that has served for more than 30 years, let me say this: We can respect and support our police officers while also pushing for important reforms. We can and must do both.

"There are many more police leaders like me, who are committed to improving the integrity of our systems, but we will fail unless we come together with our communities.

"We must each fight our natural tendency to hide inside our narrow world view, and instead seek common ground with the objective of creating an America that truly provides liberty and justice for all. "

The RNC doesnt want to support a shallow group like BLM. What have they done on a positive? What have they done about inner city violence? What have they done about family life in the black community? Have they helped rebuild cities or destroy them?

BLM is not in this for the better of the black life. Its a racist generated group.

I all honesty there are probably as many Rs as Ds that want equality for all legal citizens of the US. Its just the integrity or lack there of from the DNC to support the hate group.

The DNC has stooped to a new level regarding pandering to all minorities for a vote. Its as sleazy as it gets. If you dont see this, you are walking around with blinders on. The days of the good Democrats left with Bill Clinton.....but I guess by todays standards he would be a moderate and fall more in line with Trump.

DNC Convention Day 2: “Criminal Appreciation Night” – Mothers of Dead Violent Criminals

Those poor mothers of those young Thugs, denying their children's own guilt so they can live with the
Obama administrations exploitation of them...

I guess we can be thankful that the DNC didn't invite the parents of Tashfeen Malik and Syed Rizwan Farook,
the San Bernardino terrorists, and Omar Mateen, the Orlando terrorist, to tell us about gun violence.
Radical islamic terrorists must not be a large enough voting bloc yet to pander to by the DNC.
