Hilarious...A tout just called me and try to "SELL" his services..Please read..

Anyone ever heard of Rocky Nountain Sports?? Some Bozo called me and asked me how much I averaged a game....I asked him how he got my number, because I've never called a tout. I basically said "Look Sir, I know you probably make commission off of what you "Sell". I told him if he wanted to make real money, just get on the internet and look up the Rx. I told him my Triple plays for the night, that my name was "Action", and call back tomorrow if he wanted some more winners." He stuttered a bit, and said "Bastard" (or something to that effect) and hung up. I was dying laughing..

Thanks for Winky for giving me the inspiration to do something like that.

as i have said - the BEST way to handle these calls is this way:

When they start talking - interrupt them. tell them you are a consultant and your fee is $300 and hour and you have a 2-hour minimum. let them know you will talk to them but you MUST have their credit card numbr ASAP so you can charge them $600 for your time before they can continute the conversation. odds are the stunned silence on the phone will soon be broken by them saying something like "you called us" or similar. DON'T BACK DOWN! INSIST on gettting their credit card number ASAP or tell them you will have to hang up on them until they can give you one if they wish to continue the call. if they don't hang up, ask for their name and address because you want to know it so when you report them to the Better Business Bureau you need that information. THAT should be good enough to get rid of them!

If you call one of those "Score Phones" 800 numbers to get scores, that's how they get your number...My friend gets calls like this all the time he berates them every time...
