Damn NYY got me again but it really wasn't a surprise. They stuck with Cole too long probably hoping to cover their pen problems, but it didn't matter because the pen still crashed. The only way to bet NYY now is to hope their offense can blow out their opponents.

Also made a big possible big mistake. Was checking out returns on bets and mistakenly bet
Abreu Under 1.5 Total Bases / ATL -215 (got to live with it)

Stupid mistakes and stupid bets. Should has never added the 2nd ATL bet after making the mistake on the first one. I am 15 bets under .500 but less than 5 units down -- all my errors and pretty much knew it when I made the bets.

Early bets today -- busy later. Hate betting before lineups are locked in and hope juice doesn't go against me. There are more I'm interested in but will have to wait. I need to overcome my mistakes and hope to gain a few units back.

LAD -1 1/2 -139 / OPEN
LAD maybe the best MLB team, WAS maybe the worst MLB team. LAD has Gonsolin 11-0 and a full line up behind him at home. WAS has Espino 0-3. Should be a walk in the park for LAD but might be a letdown game.

Never have. The two game parlays always give me plus money. I just have to win the first 2 legs of the parlay (see the name of the thread). I started this thread back on April 16, over 3 months ago, to see how I would do.

The end is near if things don't turn around. But my bets are small because my bankroll was small to start. I have been happy to get past the All-Star break. So, I'll see how far I will make it before I am busted. I am very pleased to see that this betting method can result in a bad record without a big loss in units. July was the killer with a record of 11-22 so far and losing 5 units over the last 2 days counting for the majority on my current losses

My little experiment has now ended:
W-L 46-67 -8.655 Units

Overall, I think it could be a viable system or set of rules to follow and plan to try it again next year. I made some mistakes and had some losses that were crushing. Like HOU losing to OAK 3 days in a row ending today, in fact, I lost 5 or more units overall betting against OAK. I also lost more than I won by making a few bets just for the action instead of following the rules I had setup for myself when I started - need maintain my patience.

I still have enough to bet a few more and will, but it's off to Fantasy Football for me now.
