Hidden gem: Niagara -7.5 (plus UNC & Siena)

The Purple Eagles are a talented, athletic and winning team, for the MAAC, while the Marist Red Foxes are none of the above. Niagara by 11+

also like North Carolina -5. The Demon Deacons are home, but that's all they got. They enter the game with a 196 SOS, their toughest opponent was BYU. At this time, they simply are not prepared for the speed and the skills of UNC.

Finally, Siena -6.5 , another MAAC team. They began the season with high expectations, but started slowly against very good competition. They are playing well, have been very good against teams literally "out of their league", and I expect them to have no problem defeating this conference rival.

Red Foxes are extremely tough at the McCann Center. Niagara historically a much better team at home and can be really sloppy on the road. Much better team than Marist, interesting to see how they handle the venue though. Good luck.

Since my daughter just graduated from Marist, I have been following their teams, even went to the MAAC Tournament when it was held in CT. Marist is having a down year, they simply don't have the skills or the athletes they've had in the recent past. I'm hoping / betting that their home court doesn't mean much this year.
