Great question!!!

I think when you look at this you have to look at schedules. But here are my top to watch early. Remeber lines makers catch up quick, so do not ride a team for to long, and this is the NFL!!! And again some might think these are surprises, just obvious teams of improvement!

NFC

Cowboys
Saints a rebound from a good year two years ago
Arizona
Detroit

AFC

Bengals
Texans
Jags
Raiders

This years flops IMO

Packers
Tampa
Rams
Steelers on the bubble of potential flops all about Ben
Titans

Thanks Newport you are one of the guys I like to hear from

Just judging from the preseason schedule can the Colts be a little bit of a flop?Maybe only 9-10 wins?I like your opinions Newport so you think Tampa will be improved as well as Green Bay?I think Pittsburgh will go down as well what about Tennesee I think they can be bad as well.Any and all opinions appreciated.I love this board!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Newport

I have to Disagree with Arizona and Detroit.

I think Carolina is the Class of the NFC.

I think the Saints can finish second in the south, and grab a playoff Berth.

I Do like The cowboys, but they must get good WR play, to give Jones some room.

In the AFC, I think the Bills can suprise

I think the Broncos will do very very well. They can win that Division easily.

I think the Bengals won't have it on defense.

I agree with the Steelers.

No no, I think Tampa and Green Bay will be flop, and if the Colts offense sputters they are in touble!!!

Week 1

I will give what I like week one that I see right now!!!

I like Oakland to cover that number against New England..buy it to 9 and you have something

CINNCY in a ROUT of CLEV IMO
BEARS +7 and possibly the outright...This line is rediculous in my mind

Saints +5 an another possible outright!!

AZ against the Giants

Detroit to lay a whooping on Greenbay

I like the over 41 on Monday Night

You know Newport I followed the underdog of seven points to win outright rule

This was very profitable taking the points as well as winning some upsets in the office pool.I like the Bears to surprise I think their defense will be great I hope Orton starts though or they are in trouble....

We are all here to make $ so I'm only going to wax on ATS -the bottom line.

After doing my 60-70% of my homework,I feel that these are value teams.

LIONS- 10 spread covers min.
RAVENS-rex ryan 4-3 defense will do wonders for ray lewis.more weapons for boller who did improve at tail end of season and fassel as OC
CARDS
GIANTS
BILLS will surprise ..they had the 3rd best ATS record LY
BEARS may see a lot of soft line value in their favour this year
COLTS-improved defense built around high octane offense that hasn't lost much in the way of personnel. As long as they don't have to meet the pats often, they will be very solid.

FALL-OFFS:

PATS-even though i feel they will still win 11 games and go far,i believe their incredible spread run will tail off for a few reasons.

STEELERS-just a feeling...9 wins tops...6-7 covers.

just my .o2

a great 2005-2006 campaign to all!!

Hey guys do you buy into any of the preseason records?

:smoker2: I remeber some teams that started off the preseason with good records who were not supposedly good teams and those teams at the least were good cover teams.Your thoughts? What do you guys think of KC this year?

Panthers to win 10 or 11 and Green Bay to lose 9 or 10;

poor Brett Favre - without any semblance of offensive line
and facing the toughest pass defense schedule in NFL.:icon_conf

Carolina goes to Superbowl if they can stay out of Phil in
NFC championship game.

I think that Detroit and Arizona will be the surprise teams this year.

Think that Super Bowl could be repeat of last year with different reults.
New England and Philly will be tough throughout the season and ya know they say that the cream will come to the top.

Colts still king of the over

I want to see the Lions do somehting before I believe the hype. I think that offense needs better qb play than then have.

The Colts new d is designed for big plays, which means big plays from the other side and lots of turnovers. I like the over until the number gets too big.

The pack won't win 6 games. Make the bet.

The Titans will be better than you guys think.

Never noticed you before, 23,000 posts. What did you do and how long did you get, from your post, the time you spent inside done nothing for your perception.

"when they get all their weapons on the field" no good having bullets if you havent got a gun. Still, no harm in dreaming.:103631605

I actually think Tampa could do allright. If they can get a running game going their offense will be much improved and we all know the defense is good. Plus they will have a better kicking game this year. They were dead last in field goal accuracy the last 2 years.

Just a question. Why does everybody think Dallas is going to be good? They didn't even contend in most of their games last year. I know they got Jones and picked up Bledsoe, but the O-line sucks and Bledsoe is probably the least mobile QB in the NFL. He'll get sacked at least 40-50 times this year. He throws a lot of INT's and his passer rating was 76.6 last year. Plus, he's getting old. Doesn't this sound alot like the QB Dallas had last year. Testiverde had almost identical stats as Bledsoe did last year. I don't doubt they will be improved but I don't know about 10 wins and the playoffs.
