Texas Tech has always been a good cover team at home..We'll see if they can finally do it on the road. A team in the Big 12 they should have mentioned was Colorado. I think they'll cover a fair share of their games this year because they'll be improved and they'll be dogs in alot of their games. I would have also put Ole Miss in the top 10. I pretty much agree with him on the rest. Florida State will probably be better this year..But I would rather play them to cover when their even odds on the line or the dogs, rather than big favorites.

As for Florida State, other than the game vs. Wake where some starters may still be under suspension I do think they move up now, but agree that unless it is a clearly inferior opponent and they want to make a real statement then the big lines could be tricky. My biggest concern is "wide right (or left)". It's a new kicker and that can be an adventrue for this school.

Which isn't bad since they didn't lose too many players on either side of the ball.....But the thing I like about the Buffs this year more compared to last is their overall depth...They'll have more of it this year. This is one of those kinds of teams who are very young, but talented..So it's unknown exactly what they're going to do. But the things I know for sure is this is the third year of the Hawkins era. And the players should have his schemes down much better this year..With the right players to run it..To me, this is a HUGE factor in this team covering more games this season...Keep in mind that the talent in waiting is also very good. Colorado had the 13th rated recruiting class in the nation this year..Second only to OU in the Big 12. This is a team on their way up. If the Buffs can somehow pull off an upset and build a little momentum, they could give Mizzou a run for their money..At any rate I've got them picked second in the Big 12 North. Even with their tough schedule.
will be intrested to see what the North Carolina spreads will be. I think the consensus is they will be improved but it seems like every tout, scout, expert is picking them to be much improved. Looking at their schedule after an easy win against mcneese st they get @Rutgers, VT, @MIA.
They do have 18 returners and I think they will improve on their 4-8 record but I think thier lines may be inflated early as everyone and thier mother is calling for them to be so much more improved. Be careful with unlv. we lost a considerable amount of talent and while the schedule is nice we have some tough spots as well. Utah will get revenge on unlv in a big way this year. lay the points in that game. steele has never had unlv underrated and it looks like he has us overrated again.
The other two disagreements that stand out to me are hawaii and maryland. I expect to get great value with the terps this year as they are one of the only teams in the ACC getting absolutely no run at all.
