Hello:

I'm Barak Hussein Obambi and today I may support some "limited" off shore drilling because I inflated the tires on my car and bicycle and it didn't lower the prices of gasoline. I even had my car turned up and put a little extra WD40 on my bike chain. Gas prices are still high. Time for a flip flop, better start drilling.

I'm beginning to understand what "CHANGE you can believe in" means.

Anyhow, if he's serious, this is a positive development. However, I'm guessing it's merely another political ploy and he'll tow the party line after winning the election.

The press asking the questions in St Pete this morning is hilarious as to not offending "THE ONE". Here is how the female "journalist asked if he was changing his position on drilling: She asked if he was "ever-so-slightly softening his position?

The great orator sounds like a mumbling. stuttering putz when he is not reading the tele-prompter again. He definitely sounds like he is searching for the right answer vs. just speaking his mind.

Actually, he's really not the orator I thought he was.

He's not JFK, he's not RR (in his prime) and he can't dance like Bubba.

Of course, he's still a better speaker than John McCan't, but he's supposed to be great, and he's not.

good strategic move by obama. doesnt really upset the dem base, gets more conservative or on the fringe voters to consider him. people like to make big deals out of flip flops, but i like leaders who are willing to change there mind according to the american public. both of these guys should be pandering to what we want.

Have you tuned up your car and inflated the tires to the fullest? You're telling me that hasn't saved you some serious scratch?

Of course they should be doing the things we want them to do. Obama doesn't want to do things we want him to do, he just says what he thinks we want to hear. Just like all the other politicians including McBush.

That's it. The end of Obama's incredible string of flip-flops. He has now flip-flopped on every position he has campaigned upon. Even the Moveon.org crowd really doesn't know where he stands on anything.
His flip-flop on oil and energy quote "I don't want to be too rigid on this"
nonsense was breathtaking. Barry X by definition has not been RIGID on any issue. Changed his confused mind on everything!

people just don't get it

high energy prices aren't the problem

not being able to afford them because our economy wasn't based on sound fundamentals and is now unraveling is the problem

plus oil will likely continue to stand down due to overall economic gloom and doom

continue with the left/right nonsense debate your playing along with their game just like they want you to....

McCains flip-flops are so minor they are not even relevent. If he was instructed by his wife to get 1/2 lb. roast beef before coming home and came with 1/4 lb. this would constitute a flip-flop to desperate Democratic eyes.
Obama's flip-flops are of the sledge-hammer variety. Everything he campaigned on to fleece the Democratic nomination he has flip-flopped on.
Absolute stunning reversals.

When are you going to stop defending Obama's undefendable flip-flops on positions that defined his campaign. McCain stands for Fiscal responsibility,
strong National Defense, elimination of pork barrel schemes & energy independence, duty to country among other wise positions.
After all the hidious flip-flops of Obama's ill-fated dismal campaign could you please name one thing Obama TRUELY stands for.
