I play a parlay card with a local. It is set up with corresponding numbers with teams, and includes both nfl and college. For example

1. Ariz cardinals +6
2. Sf 49ers -6

3. San Diego chargers +2.5
4. Kc chiefs -2.5

(games 5-16 rest of nfl, etc)

17. Norte dame +7.5
18. Lsu -7.5

19. Maryland +14
20. Stanford -14

So each team, regardless of nfl or college has its own corresponding number to select on the parlay card. Each number corresponds with a single team.

But on the parlay card, there are two separate lines, one to write in your # of team you select for college games and one for nfl games.

So I turned in the parlay card with all the correct selections but mistakenly put my college football selections on the NFL line.....

so this is how it would look on the parlay card I turned in

1. 4. 17. 20.
NFL ____________

college __________

So I picked all the right teams, Arizona, KC, Norte dame and Stanford. But I wrote the college selections on the wrong line, as I put the college games on the NFL line. Each # corresponds with a unique different team (so if I pick #17 on parlay it can be for one team and one team only, Notre Dame, there is no corresponding NFL team that goes with #17). So of course my local is telling me the parlay card lost since I put the college selections on the NFL line.

Any thoughts here as to if the local should grade this a winner? Or is he just trying to stiff me?

Stiff :ohno:

since he is being a jerk with the 2 college games as a void that would make it a 2 team winner :think2:

technically, he doesn't have to pay.........That said, I wouldn't deal with him no more until he comes up with a fair, reasonable compromise as that would be a Bush-League move on his part.

what was payout for this one? Might help determine if he is a real stiff or just stating rules of the card.

without having the numbers already on the card to check off makes it easy for him to stiff

The above is balls- on accurate.

The card is ignorant in content... and no way in hell you should play them... EVER!

And.... the guy won't want to lose your business.... cause obviously ties lose..... and you and others are just giving him money.
