very stupidly, i admit, i bet a prop and no i'm second guessing the prop bet:

the prop states:

Will the Pacers win the game by > 8.5 points ?

i bet NO

so if the heat win or pacers win by less than 8

i win correct?

the part that stumps me is if heat win outright

thanks

Key is Will indy win by whatever. Indy has to win, might as well throw it away now. Never bet a bet, if you have any question as to what it requires to win. Looks like a Pinny prop. Best wishes...OF

Heat win by any score you win, Pacers win by 8 or less you win, Pacers win by 9 or more you lose. imho.

Wil's right on the No side. Just funny wording for an adjusted line. Pacers -8 1/2 may read easier. Best Wishes...OF

i'm so fing confused:

copy paste from pinny

Dear Sir,

If the Pacers do not win the match by more than 8.5, your wager will be
graded as a loss. If the Pacers lose the game, the wager will also be graded
as a loss, as they have not won the match by more than 8.5.

i emailed them back with this:

hi again

sorry for the confusion on my part but i just want to understand this bet.

your explaination is if i bet yes, stated below:

"If the Pacers do not win the match by more than 8.5, your wager will be graded as a loss. If the Pacers lose the game, the wager will also be graded as a loss, as they have not won the match by more than 8.5."

but, i bet NO.

so,
basically your wording an adjusted line, pacers -8.5, and i bet NO they would not

so if heat win, or pacers win by 8 or less i win.

correct?

thanks so much

here's there response:

We hope the following clarifies your doubts on this wager:

1. If Miami Heat wins your wager is a loss.

2. If Indiana Pacers win by less than 8.5 points you win.

3. If Indiana Pacers win by more than 8.5 points your wager is a loss.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us at csd@pinnaclesports.com.

IMO - if Pacers lose outright then NO they did not win by 8.5, no way you should lose if Miami wins. If the prop read - If pacers win the game - will they win by more than 8.5 yes or no (with juice) then I could see the ruling. I expect wiser heads will prevail before this is over. See what happens first, you can always ask General for intervention.

I agree with will.. if the prop is:

"Will the Pacers win the game by > 8.5 points ?"

then simple logic dictates that a Miami win means that "NO" wins.

Hate to be an ass, but I don't understand why this Prop caused so much confusion.

It was a simple yes/no question.

Will it snow more than 8.5 inches tonight?

Guess what...if it doesn't snow at all, then it didn't snow more than 8.5 inches.

obvioulsy the Pinnacle customer servie EMAIL person had no idea what they were talking about. A simple case of somebody who thinks they know typing away and confusing the customer. With that money line it was clear a heat loss was a win for you as well.
