Help me understand Matchbook....

Hope you guys can help me out here. Do I understand how it works correctly, if I accept and offer on say the Yankees -150 and I want to be them to win $100. I would lay the $150 to win $100 and if it wins I get paid $100, but matchbook takes a 1%, so I get a net $99? Do they take the 1% no matter if I win or lose? :think2:
