Help! Looking for a resort to take the wife...

Looking to spend around $2000 for about 4 or 5 nights. Some place tropical preferred. Would like all inclusive to limit the extra expenses. Looking to travel in early November for out 10th Anniversary.

Have enjoyed trips to Cancun and Dominican Republic both at all-inclusive resorts. Would fit your budget as well. I would suggest signing up for Travelzoo as well as they have some good specials through their email bulletins.

Look up places like: Conchal, Playa Grande, Papagayo, Flamingo for starters. Plane comes down to Liberia and from there its about an hour drive.

I don't know where you are coming from, but as mentioned Maui is the bomb, Costa Rica is the shits, go to the Virgin Islands.

Go to Cancun Palace in Cancun Mexico. Fits your budget and an overall very good resort. Nice, big pool and you can use the other Palace resorts all inclusive as well.

You should check out an Island that barely gets mentioned: St. Lucia. One of the prettiest islands in the Carribean. It's not the place to go if you are into the party all night scene, but it's a great place to visit. You won't see better scenery anywhere else IMHO.

Landing in StLucia on Nov 9th for 3 weeks of island hopping.
I LOVE The Tobago Keys.....Grenadines......unbelievable.
Check out Palm Island......too rich for me but in your budget.

Hey if you're looking for a resort to take your wife, you should call some major resorts first and find out how much they're willing to pay for a Used Wife.

And of course make sure they're willing to pay the shipping costs.
