Hedge or not to hedge?

Got a parlay carrying over from yesterday with Tenn -4.5 to cash for $1000......I usually never hedge but im having some second thoughts on this game....At this point im gonna let it ride but id hate to lose this....

Not hedging.......I see no way indys defense can stop the titans run game....that with Peyton not seeing the field alot tonight and when he is he will be up against the titans d....sticking with the -4.5

I agree with this and was to about to post the same thing. At least cover the amount of the initial bet or buy back a small amount that way you either win big or win a little. Personally I'd buy back twice the amount of the initial bet and let the rest ride as I think Tennessee covers tonight.

I'm kind of in the same boat, but with a teaser, and at much lower stakes. Got the Titans at +2 1/2 as the last leg of a 4 team teaser - to win $125.

Can't decide if I should put 50 on the Colts ML or the spread which will give me a bigger shot at the middle....

Good points.....I just hate hedging....why did I put Tenn in the parlay to hedge them off tonight? Basically I had a unit on Mia, Phi, Balt and then another unit on those three plus Tenn....so im up 4 units on the weekend as of right now.....but the colts are worrying me might just be worth it to hedge go +9 guaranteed....+13 has a much nicer ring......I hate gambling

As i had Philly' series +130 ML 5 dimes to make $650 if tonight they clinched. I probably play 3 dimes on TBay +160 to make $480. If TB win tonight, i prob win both bets or i'll make $350 if TB lost .
Hedge if you got a chance.

I almost had a teaser going from yesterday but the steelers screwed it up was a 10 team teaser but oh well good luck man...........always hedge my last team would of been colts +10

dont do it...tenn will cover with ease...because of one reason...the lines. Colts O line against the Titans D line is just unfair...if you dont win that battle you usually dont come close to winning the game...only way i see it being close is if the colts D makes some plays.

Exactly....I always make sure of this when Im picking my last game on a parlay because I hate hedging.....Tenn was my fav play of the week early on but I really feel like Indy covers here.....that being said Im not gonna hedge probably....why ill never know

You hit the nail on the head: if you are gonna hedge, why would you have put the Monday night game in the parlay. You are giving away money in the long run if you hedge.
