Hi all.

I have the skins tomorrow +4 as the last leg of a teaser for a fair amount of money. I'm considering hedging out and trying to middle. I'm just not sure what the best approach is on this one. I'm posting a poll w/ my options. Please vote and post in the comments what percentage of the teaser bet + potential winnings I should make the hedge for, if at all. Thanks and Happy Holidays!

depends how much your initial bet is. if you layed 100 let it ride. if you got a dime on it maybe bears +3 for 1100 to cover your investment but thats assuming your payout at least 3-1 . Everyones moneymanagement is different. Youll never go broke turning a profit however greed can kill your bankroll . Goodluck

hmm so if your bet is X to win 1.2X

Maybe throw like .3X on +3 and like .2X on ML..... leaves 2 middle chances and still good upside if your first choice hits..... let us know what you decide...there's not a correct answer for this

Thanks. Much appreciated. The drop in payout made it tough on me to figure out, which is why I posted. If it were paying 2x, I could make the wager on the other side and still spin a good profit. As it stands, I was starting to overthink it. I almost put an even amount on the other side to hedge out completely, but that kind defeats the purpose of my original bet, unless I'm confident of a middle, which I'm not. That's why I posted. I like your idea. The line has dropped unfavorably since I posted the poll. I can still get the bears +3 -110 some places, but ML is pretty much +125 everywhere I have outs at this point. Thanks again for your input!

uIt's a teaser. I think you should not hedge at all. Why even bet it in the first place!

Unless you bet it and now something happened and you cant risk the money. But if the $ isn't the problem. Then don't hedge at all.

And.. stop teasing through 0. Not a good play.

Thanks for the advice. I'm obviously a recreational gambler. That said, I'm always open to learning more. Do you have any material you can refer me to in order to learn more about what does/doesn't make a good play with teasers...or anything really?
