Heat pounded at at a 70+% tick!!!! Is ANYONE concerned?

I'll probably get -11 once I call it in. Yes Miami should flick the Wizards off thier nuts like a flea on a pitbull's balls. But man does that number scare me. I know this game's gonna be a chaser game to all those who are trying to get to positive at the end of the week, not to mention those who took a bath with Houston yesterday. And worst of all it's the opening game of the series!!!!!

I wonder if the odds makers and ticket takers are snickering at each other as they watch the lines grow at the sportsbook.

wash is a bad matchup inside w/ mia. they had a tough time w/ chi/chandler. wade and eddie jones are good def players to slow down wash guards. i believe its a statement game for the series.

i believe nj nets are also a better team than wash. they got swept

I hear ya DeNiro. The Wiz have no business being in this game let alone the series.

However only one thing scares me. The Wiz are pacing right now and have the momentum. I wouldn't think they'd be exhausted after finishing up the game 7. I look for Miami to be more rusty IMO. And trust me, I'm only thinking of game 1 not the series.

btw.... as I was writing this thread I couldn't get these 2 scenarios outta my head if I were in Vegas standing on the sidelines.

Won by an avg of 12.5 and the line opens at 10. Now getting bet up to maybe close at 12? The way Shaq shoots free throws, it wouldn't suprise me if Heat dominate the game but stiff the number.


I went with the Heat when it opened after seeing Wiz celebrate beating the Bulls like a college team winning their conference tourny- even had the "round 2' t-shirts, I think they may come out flat here as there season is already a success.

But this being the NBA I would expect the game to come down to the number in the end
