Betting the TAILS at EVEN money a good wager?

It is proven with normal UNITED STATES coins that tails comes up ever so slightly more than heads(because of the added wight on the HEADS side).

Would this hold true for the SUPERBOWL coin?

Better yet, if you knew that it did, how much would you risk on the TAILS at EVEN money if you could find these odds?

PS- Recall a couple years ago a sportsbook offering NO VIG on this prop, so it is possible you may find this at EVEN money somewhere this year.

I would bet it at even, what the heck.

Most books have gone to "which team will win the flip" have they not?

Intertops is offering juice free this year.

I remember a few years back they offered one side at +105 I believe. The limit was $75 but it obviously held EV. Needless to say, +105 lost.

The article will be up on the homepage tommorow. Below is a paragraph from the article.

I am letting the cat out of the bag on this one too. Every Super Bowl you can bet on the coin flip. The most astute bettors laugh at how many squares bet on the outcome. Well, I am here to tell you that I am one of the squares. That is correct! I bet on TAILS every year and so should you. Every Super Bowl they use a commemorative coin, and it is always the head of the coin that is puffed up and top-heavy. If you flip this coin one hundred times, you will see that it will come up tails much more then heads. Sometimes you can even get a bonus, as I did in 2002. At that time, I found a square sportsbook to have the head favorite 140/120. That's right! I actually received a plus money on the betting of tails. What was that book thinking? There is money to steal out there on this game. Make sure that you do your research and get yours too!

I would bet on the coin flip if I could get Percy Diakonis to flip it.

And this "scientific" article claiming that one side or another is favored sounds like a bunch of hooey. Not to mention that when the coin hits the ground it could bounce up and end up on the "wrong" side... similar I suppose to a roulette ball bouncing out of one number and into another.
