This SAT Wake will be hosting Stanford at 12 noon eastern.Imo this is a huge adv for Wake ,The Stanford guys bodies will on be 9 am when this game kickoff coming from the west side, the home team here should kick butt in this game.ck
The Stanford running should be the biggest concern with Wake. Wake only gave up an average of 116 yards per game rushing on defense last year. And Baylor rushed for 200 yards (5 ypc) on this unit in the first game. So they are obviously down this year defensively. The only thing that bothers me about Stanford is their defense on the road.I'm thinking about taking Stanford on the money line in this. Wake returns 3 DL and 1 DB on def. Vs a very good rushing attack for Stanford. Stanford returns a load of experience and Harbaugh is a good coach that will have this Stanford team believing.
I'm gonna go Stanford + 3 and maybe even hit the money line.
The Stanford team arrives in Winstom-Salem tonight to get used to the time change. So it won't be a factor in this game.
jimmy...I've been to so many websites lately, I can't remember where I saw it. It looked legit, but you can't always believe everything you read. Especially on the net. I'll look around and see what the real story is with this team, and look for a link. I noticed that ESPN was ephasizing the west coast/east coast time change angle for this game. But everytime I see this happen, it usually ends up not being a factor in a game. In last year's Cal/Maryland game I think the weather change had just as much to do with Cal's performance as the time change. They went from the mild 70's in Berkeley to getting off the plane to temperatures in the 90's and high humidity in College Park.Sooners...can you elaborate on where this info is coming from? I have heard from a credible source that Stanford isn't actually getting into WS until Friday, and would really like to know which is correct....thanks...
