Aloha everyone. Here it is, today take HAWAII -13 as a 4 Unit WAC Play of the Week. Thats right gang, I'm all over this game, despite it being played off the rock. Hawaii's road record of 1-3 ATS and SU this year, will not play a factor, as Hawaii will attain its second consecutive road victory today, and achieve something I can't recall ever happening.

As I had addressed in my write up involving Hawaii's game at La Tech, I stated that drastic yet calculated traveling issues and plans were being put in place by Coach Jones, which specifically addressed the negative past results directly associated with having to travel to the mainland for a game. So far, based on the positive outcome and play by the team in that game, which was also the farthest distance Hawaii ever had to travel for a game, reflects positively on this game only being played in Calif. Coach Jones is confident that the traveling will not have any great effect on the team and that he has a good sense of what adjustments will help the teams overcome the effects of traveling to the mainland. Have to feel that this game being in Calif. is alot more easier for the guys to adjust to.

With traveling seemingly taken care of, I view the number as very obtainable. In fact, looking at the matchup now, less the traveling issue, I can not see any way this weak San Jose St squad has of preventing this game from getting out of hand very early. Last week, they suffered one of the worst defeats ever at the hands of a good Boise St. team, this week it will be simply another repeat and continued nightmare for this team.

I can't find anything, which points or gives San Jose St some type of edge here in this game. In fact, they play right into the hands of the Hawaii offensive system. Currently, San Jose St ranks as the 7th worst in total defense in the nation. They give up an avg of 37 pts and 454 yards per game. Last week, Timmy Chang passed for over 400 yards in a lack luster game played against UTEP. This def has also amazingly only recorded 2 sacks on the season. This of all stats concerning San Jose St's def, simply equates to big numbers and huge day for Timmy Chang and his receiving corp. With the absense of any type of pass rush and pressure on Chang, he will be simply sitting in the pocket and picking apart this secondary at will. He could possibly pass for 500-600 yards today.

This is just a nightmare setup for these Trojans, having to endure back to back high potent offenses. After last weeks blowout by Boise St., I wouldn't be surprised if this team has nothing left in ways of focus, motivation, or energy, to compete today. In fact, I see them submitting without a true effort, especially if like I mentioned, this game gets out of hand early.

Ok, with San Jose St. clearly outmanned and outclassed in this matchup, one might feel that Hawaii may not be so focused for this game, especially with Nevada coming up next week. Well, it is for that very reason, that Jones had worked to get this team focused for this game. Hawaii not only needs to win today, it will have to win in seemingly awesome fashion. Last week, they came out flat and lost alot of the momentum and consistency that this offense needs to be in. They need an all out effort and dominating play by their offense today which, can hopefully be carried over to next weeks game against a dangerous Nevada squad, looking for an upset. I feel Hawaii will be able to get back its rhythm today and leave Calif. with a 20+ pt win.

Today, play the HAWAII WARRIORS for a 4 Unit WAC Play of the Week. GL everyone and lets go get em. Aloha.

adding:

2 Unit Play on:

HAWAII -6.5 for the 1st half

-this number under 7, and with last weeks slow start coming out of the blocks, I have to see Coach Jones making sure this game starts out differently.

Well, if your so sure that will happen, why would you want them not to go bowling. Nate, I seriously think you are one confused person. You state with confidence that something is surely to happen, but then you wish for it not to occur. C'mon Nate you need to get a grip. Why don't you start by gripping your lips, so it prevents you from bad mouthing others plays when they don't come through. Real players know that these things can happen. At least they have the balls to put themselves out their for all to see. Whereas you, just hide and only post negatives in others post. What is that all your good for. Sorry my bad, you also good at bitching and blaming others when you lose. I think I'll call you Natalie Newton from now on. Aloha Girlfriend.
