Jay Carney’s family and home were debuted in a magazine called the Washingtonian. Here’s an interesting photo of their kitchen:

Notice the Soviet propaganda posters in the background? Here they are below:

BY DMITRI MOOR

“Comrade! [We want] YOU! Have you signed on to strengthen our motherland?”

Here’s the other one:

According to Business Insider:

The other poster features a female factory worker. According to this eBay seller, who is offering one for $1,660, the poster was printed on June 26, 1941, days after Russia began fighting the Axis powers in World War II. It encourages women take jobs vacated by men who have gone to fight. The woman in the poster is switching out a tag with a man’s name to one with hers and the text says: ”Women! Learn production, replace workers who went to the front! The stronger the hinterland – the stronger the front!

Carney and Shipman have a lot of history with Russia. They met in Moscow in the 1990s while he was writing for Time and she worked for CNN.

Surprised? No? Then, check out this other photo that has been heavily photoshopped to make it look like they have a lot of books. Notice the finger that got photoshopped too:

Thanks to RBPundit for highlighting all the photoshopped areas.

I assume the kid didn't really flip the egg either? He should also be tried and shot.

Also, those looks like Russian doughnuts. The man is obviously a commie sympathizer. Bring back Joe McCarthy. He'll get to the bottom of those posters.

Idiotic shit like this is exactly what is wrong with our country. The left and the right don't want to come together for the common good. They'd rather keep the petty bickering going over inconsequential bullshit such as this.

Nope, that ship has sailed.

The left wants ("social justice'') what the right doesn't (freedom and every their God-given constitutional rights) -- two very VERY different visions for society.

The left wants Mao and Stalin, the right wants Washington and Jefferson.

"Irreconcilable differences" as a divorced couple would say...

Stupid is right.

I didn't hang those Marxist posters in Jay Carney's home, he did that all by himself because that is who he is and what he believes.

Don't shoot the messenger.

I have a Gone With The Wind poster in my house. Guess that makes me Clark Gable. So we are now in the era where we tell people what artwork they can or can't hang in their house? The 50s all over again.

You do realize there is quite a market in the US for vintage Russian posters? Maybe we should go door to door and make anyone who owns such things to were a big red C on their clothing. And at the price that 2nd one sold for, I wish I had me a bunch of them.

I wonder if Carney and his family was the inspiration behind the FX series, The Americans?
