Maybe its to good to be true. But if you go to pregame.com an check out the matchup. You wont believe TCU is only favored by 31. Ought to be 40.

I don't know. This is similar to a USC last week against a horrible Wazzou team. I haven't played this game...but I'm looking at it......

I'm on Wyoming.

Their offense is pretty sour but their defense is stout. I believe TCU played above their heads last week. Other than last week their offense hasn't shown much of anything against decent defenses.

If Wyoming offense doesn't gift TCU more than 1 easy touchdown this will be an easy cover for them IMO.

yeah and usc used wash st as the mop to clean up where ol grandpa shit in the hallway!

any line that big does scare the shit out of me, but i literally want to lay at least 50% of what i've got in onlines on tcu. (which is another thing that scares me, because what happens every time someone says that...)

any line that big tends to come down a bit though, whether its the bait and switch to catch a lower line or people thinking no team is as bad as wyoming is being portrayed (and actually is)

either way, good point out PUGDOG, you've been posting some real good stuff lately, kudos!

It probably will be one of those 72-10 games that you say afterwords[Damm an I was going to bet that but the spread scared me away] F-ckit = I put 80.00 on it an normally I only bet 20 avg. 50 if I really like it. If I lose it. It will just remind me why I hate layin those big #s....Good Luck= Signed::Carcajada::thumbsup: The Fool

wyoming might not score - this is true
..... and yet they could easily still cover the game.
tcu's offense is NOT designed to blow anybody out. if you are laying 31 points with a team more than happy to win 20-0, then at least know ahead of time what youre potentially getting yourself into. frogs are one of the last teams in the country id want to lay double digits with ... let alone freaking 30. and that saying something considering the amount of respect i have for tcu because theyre a good team. its just awfully tough to lay 31 with a team that isnt even guaranteed to SCORE 31.

Nobody should be betting on this game! Nobody. Wyoming won't score, agreed. But TCU is just going to line up and run the football, shorten the game and they won't bring their "A" game here. Not after shooting their wad last week. This is a classic letdown spot for a nice easy, vanilla win. There will be no urgency for TCU to inflate the score.

uhm... 32 vs byu, 41 vs sdst, 48 at smu, 31 vs stanford and they've covered 31 on 3 different occasions this year. vs shit teams no doubt, but it's not like wyoming is fighting for a bcs spot. the 32 against byu is the most they've allowed all season. who, beat wyoming 44-0. wyoming has yet to score on the road, one being the 44-0 beatdown from byu and the other a 24-0 handling from new mexico... new mexico by the way, has allowed an average of over 27 points to non-wyoming opponents...

the defense only appears stout at home. which shouldnt matter because it's the same guys in the same positions, yet, look at the results.

dont get me wrong, im gonna grind the shit out of both wyoming and tcu to see if there's something wrong here, but tcu-31 looks awfully playable

If TCU plays a perfect game (for them), they probably win 42-0. This is pretty much the margin that the top teams in the MWC have been pasting Wyoming by over the last 2 years. That does not leave much margin for error IMO. TCU is likely to put forth a "C" type effort in this game. They know Wyoming sucks, they'll still be celebrating their win over BYU, etc. They aren't getting fired up to play this game folks. I would anticipate a very vanilla game plan out of TCU here. That is exactly what you don't want when you are trying to cover an enormous spread.

When trying to cover a 31-point spread, you want the video game offense in full effect.

[Wyoming's] defense is ranked 116th

Not even close. Wyoming has a solid defense that has allowed just 317 yards per game at 4.8 yards per play.
