If I weren't laying cheese on these I'd be bored out of my mind overall. Blowouts, boring crowds, no Cinderella's.....Give me a buzzer-beater AT LEAST ONCE already, geesh.....looks like it's up to Clevland St. to pull the big upset of this year if it's going to happen. I may take that ML just on priciple.....

this is what happens when the ncaa committee f***s over the smaller conferences and we miss out on the StMary's and SDSU's.

Ugh, Dayton?

That's my point.

Where are the 'Hamptons' and 'Valpos' man? Was that a buzzer-beater anyway? Maybe I missed that one, but overall I wanna see some HEAT. This tournament is forgetable thus far......however, with all the higher seeds advancing, should make for a hell of a tournament tomorrow and sunday.

If we had ridiculous upsets every year, they would not be special.

Dayton, Gonzaga, and Oklahoma State are hungry. My bracket so far is better than Barack 0bama's. I feel pretty good about that.

GREAT point.

At least give me a game-winner tonight then and we'll call it square.

Can't wait for second round, however. Let's shoot for one of the best SECOND rounds in tournament history son. :toast:

It has been very boring this year, and the two games that came down to buzzer beater shots, the shooter barely got an air ball off.

Here you go. Two OT games and a 13 seed dominates a 4 seed. Still a poor first round overall.

Satisfied. Anything else tonight is gravy. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Excellent night of ball; first time it really felt like 'madness' to me. Can't wait for the rest of the weekend now.:)<<

Have you noticed how empty the seats were in most of these first round games this year. I thought I was watching the girls tourmament.

Very good point. Most of the last teams in like Arizona, Wisconsin, Maryland, Dayton, and Michigan all won their first round games. Temple and Miss St. stole two bids but at least Cleveland St. made the most of their stolen bid. With so many overrated mediocre teams prone to being upset, it seems like expanding the tournament is the answer.
