A customer of mine was boasting about his $6000 Super Bowl tickets he bought for the game in Jacksonville. I was envious to say the least which made me wonder how many posters have gone and what
was the week like?

gone to about 30 of them, and it's a week of the best time i ever had, but stay away from the cold climate games like detroit and minn

if you work hard you can get tickets for 1-2k each

toughest part is not the tickets but the hotels near the events

I can't imagine anywhere being better for a Superbowl than New Orleans, that city was meant to host it every year!

you are 100% right, but getting a room in the quarter is real touuuuuuuuuuuuuuugh

i got a few nice picks of me at the game all fucked up as usual, was going to post them but they are two large.

it's the only place that i will still go to a sb. SD was my last one, but will still go to the big easy every year it's there

J ville has un-godly amounts of hotel rooms. and the city is extreamly spread out. Plus the stadium really doesn't seat that many people. But a great place to see a game. Every seat is nice and wide and conferatable. I may have orange bowl tickets coming, not sure yet.

easy

easy, rooms in a good location are very tough, mia sb the same way, all spread out, makes it tough to not land in jail or be on the road most of the time going to various events

if you care abour seeing the game watch it on tv. i usually spend more time going back and forth to the pisser. glad to see that many of the stad have tv in the johns

your right there. Look at it like this. Most every stadium I've ever been to isn't exactly in the best part of town. J ville is not differant. It is right in the ghetto. Not many rooms right by the stadium. And if there were I wouldn't want to stay in them. But bulter blvd. isn't to far away, maybe 5 miles. Plus you got a Dave and Busters sports bar right there that kicks ass.

I think the only pro stadium I've been to that isn't in a bad part of town is Miami.

Tampa Bay, Jacksonville, the old Det. lion and Det tigers, Red Wings, the kingdome I wouldn't want to be around any of those places after dark by myself.

Awesome...

I was at the SuperBowl last year. 6000 is a rip-off. The way to go if you don't have them is to get them through a scalper. They were selling them for 1800. But like someone else replied. Good Luck with the lodging. It is ridiculous. But I will never forget it. It was a spectacular experience.

Hope you have the oppurtunity...Best Wishes.

I've been to two... the SF-SD '94 game in Miami and the last BUF-DAL game in ATL... agree with the rest, an amazing time. I've got tickets to the game this year as well in my hometown Jacksonville.

Contrary to what one person said, we do not have the hotel rooms. That's why they are bringing in 3-4 cruise ships to provide more hotel rooms. We are very spread out, and people could stay in St. Augustine or other outlaying cities, but hotel rooms and a lack of night life downtown is going to give us some bad press.

like i said swamplander it's all about the rooms. i was in jax a few years back, and they told me about the ships. sell your tickets at the higher prices when they know the final 2, and buy back later at 1/4 the price from the people that cant find the rooms. (unless jax makes it to the big show)

selling and buying back and selling again is how i always paid for my trips

hope jax makes the playoff's, they have more class than most of the teams in the nfc

p.s. contact me if ne make's it, i have a ton of sb 20 **** that you can do some good trades with or make some big bucks, made top $$$ in no a few years back

I went to the '91 game in Tampa between buffalo and the giants. Great, Great game! I was a guest of a friend in the media and didn't have to pay for a thing. I like to visit "gentlemen's clubs" and had an absolute blast at those in Tampa...really good looking girls from all over the country came in for the week.

oh yes, remember it well, sb 25, my son and i got arrested in the parkling for trying to buy and sell some tickets, they shook us down but didnt have any evidence, we only had money no tickets.

tb is always a tough place to buy as sell because of their scalp laws, but it's a great place for a game, and parties.

still have a bunch of 25 stuff that i'll unload on ebay this year

If you break down at the right spot on 95 in Jacksonville and bring a good pair of bino's you can watch it for free..........at least till they tow your ass away......you could always argue with the cops if you need a place to stay.

best deal i ever made for 2 super bowl tickets was in detroit for sb 16. i had a ton of tickets, very easy to get at that one, and my son and i went to a small card show, one of the dealers that wanted to go to the game traded me a mint set of topps 1955 baseball card for 2 two tickets, my son still has that set and i believe they are worth some decent $$$. you need to be innovative to go to these games for free (no out of the pocket money), and have a great time as well
