Yeah. I really don't understand how so many people can be calling Utah a downgrade. They've proven themselves every chance they were given. I realize their budget pales in comparison to other programs but that new TV deal should give that program a real shot in the arm. Kyle Wittingham is a great act following Urban Meyer's success at that school. They haven't skipped a beat since Meyer left. And with Norm Chow finally getting a chance to run an offense his own way, there's no telling what they may achieve.
Colorado gets a chance to meet up with a conference that mirrors their culture and they won't be as sucked into the B-12 issues that seem to have degraded more than just them over the past few years. Other than SDSU, I just don't see any more schools that meet Pac-12 standards with respect to curricula and research etc. within the current states that the Pac-12 occupies. If they expand again, they will move into new territory. If the B-12 looks like it will fold, look out!
