Still the greatest. Been fighting some health issues lately.

The greatest mouth, not the greatest boxer, and greatest scum for what he did to another in time of their need after the other took care of him in his time of need. If you need to ask who, you don't follow boxing or history of it.

Ali was certainly a polarizing and complex character. Obviously you mean Frazier and he definitely crossed the line with him.

Still can't diminish his success in the ring even though he is the toughest legend to historically judge in any sport

The Liston fight was almost definitely rigged. The Foreman fight probably was even though it can't be proven.....Those are 2 of the 3 signature wins of his career

However nobody can take away from him that he fought in the toughest HW era ever and off 3 years in the can was able to make it look so easy.

Used to see him a lot when he had his farm here. Even on his worst days with Parkinson's, he loved the public.

Liston was the one that took the dive. Doubt if Ali had a hint of that, and Ali was mouthing off to the Bear for weeks. No one else had the balls to do that. Ali did treat Frazier horribly. He pushed all the buttons he could. Never heard the Foreman fight was rigged. Foreman was such a bad ass back then, doubt if he would have taken a dive. Ali still was great for the sport. Fastest hands and willing to take as many punches as he had to to win. He is one of the most recognized men on the planet.

Liston said to have owed the mob bigtime, I don't recall the details but the evidence was pretty cut and dry from what I do recall.

Foreman has said he was drugged. Given he barely mentions it and doesn't seem to be want to make a big deal out of it, I tend to believe him. Also Don King was prominently involved in promoting a fight taking place in a 3rd world country so I tend to believe pretty much anything that could happen given that scenario.

I was at the Ali-Holmes fight in Las Vegas. Lem Banker was touting how well Ali looked in training. I didn't have much money at the time and bet on Holmes. The price drop was due to sentimentality in the belief that Ali still had a chance.

The world should run a raffle to punch him out. Tour him around and let everyone hit him. Kids, parents, grandpas. We tour him around and charge $5 for 5 minutes. In those 5 minutes, you can do whatever you want to him. He has been on my top 5 torture list for awhile.

He indeed was out of boxing for three years after the draft fiasco but they weren't spent in the "can".
