This is a snapshot of the Hank Stramm superbowl system, it's from a couple of years ago but I use it because as always people make changes to it and then argue about what's actually right etc etc. This takes all the bs out of the mix

10 pts to any team that has won the SB in the last 3 yrs




8 pts to a team if opponent is playing in SB for 1st time




8 pts to team that allowed fewer rushes




7 pts to team with best overall record




7 pts to team with most offensive rushes




5 pts to team with lowest def rush yds per carry avg




4 pts to team with best net kick/punt return TDS




4 pts to team with best ATS record




4 pts to team with best net penalty yards




3.5 pts to team with best yds per pass attempt




3.5 pts to team that allowed the fewest points




3.5 pts to team that allowed fewest rushing TDs




3 pts to team with most sacks




2.5 pts to team with fewest offensive pass attempts




2 pts to team with best net total punts




1.5 pts to team with best offensive rush yds per carry




1 pt to team with best completion percentage












I think the results are like 5O something to 4 or close to that favoring SF

The system was on a 39-4-3 run (or darn close to that) until it tanked L3 SB's in a row I believe. Obviously this year is a toss-up. The year that GB beat PIT 31-25 in the SB (2009 or 2010) had the system in PIT's favor 62-7 JUST TO GIVE YOU AN IDEA WHAT AN ABERRATION THAT WAS.

well if that is the case then. with denver chewing clock the rush stats are skewed.
if u want apples to apples the amt of rush attempts should factor into the number of yards given up
therefore making seattle with the edge.
let's face facts den run d is note very good and their pass d is even worse.
in all 3 of denvers losses in the reg season they allowed 120 + on the ground.
lynch will get that and more
