NFL SEASON just about here, pretty pumped about it.. Feeling confident that this will be a profitable season.

Been doing my homework and feel there are some teams that are over and undervalued.

Lets have a great season, I'm personally going to do my best to limit the amount of teasers I wager on. I don't think I've been making profit with it, maybe in 2006 but I'm not sure.

The Jets are a nice play on the road the last three seasons as a puppy:
2006...5-2
2007...4-3
2008...3-1

I think there a few other games that are a better play this week. I like the Vikes - 2 1/2 at Cleveland as my top slection.

this texans jets game has everyone talking on the forum. My gut feeling immediately was I loooooove the texans. They were red hot to end the season and the jets have a rookie qb (wish they were starting Clemens) but a rookie QB none the less plus, this is a brand new coach and brand new system. Matt Ryan and Joe Flacco were truly special. If the defense doesn't shoot them in the foot I think the texans can cover at home. The Jets will need sometime to work everything out. I would really like to know other thoughts on this game.

I think the Jets/Texans is a tossup.. Think the spread is right on.. Texans will probably win 20-17 24-20 something like that.

Too many question marks, who knows how Sanchez will play..

Jets will have the advantage in the trenches. Texans getting way too much respect here, they're the trendy pick of the summer but the truth is they are an average team. Getting +4.5 with the Jets is a gift...I'll take my chances and make the texans beat me with a TD.

Just saw this. The line opened at 4 and hasn't really changed much. What scares me is this, can Houston stop Leon washington? Houston looked bad against the run in preseason, but then again, they were missing two starters. Both Dunta Robinson and their #1 draft pick, Cushing, will be playing in this game.

I took the Texans -4 sometime ago so yes, I believe they will cover the spread. The Texans have a great opportunity to start the season around 6-2.

Love SF Skins n Aints If Campbell can have a decent game they might even win G men are beat up specially in the secondary. SF can easily match Cards score for score i think and well the Saints are playin the Lions but sumthin tells me they backdoor that number. I decided to lay low on the sides this week.........might and most likely will make some small plays on a few :drink:GL gyno :toast:
