Nice looking card for special MLK Day holiday racing - here we go throwin' darts at the Racing Form!
Race 1 - #5 Gea (5-1) I think the race will set up perfectly here. Omi Ten will get pushed harder than she wants ensuring a brisk pace. Looks like a 4,5,6 exacta box with perhaps some late interest from #12.
Race 2 - #3 Lodi (20-1) He belongs on the grass and will show more today. Not sure if he has enough ability, but at double digits why not take a shot?
Race 3 - #10 Markistan (8-1) Not a fan of putting my own money on a Croft-trained filly, but Saez sees fit to jump aboard today and something tells me that's a sign.
Race 4 - #1 Magic River (6-1) 3rd off the layoff for an improving filly with a perfect stalking style.
Race 5 - #6 St Louie Arch (20-1) Adds blinkers after a nice, long freshening - will gun it and try to hold on.
Race 6 - #11 Rythmia (8-1) Saffie Joseph makes some really good claims every now and then always seems to have them ready for the comebacker.
Race 7 - #5 Bulldat (7-2) Somebody has to win this mess, right?
Race 8 - #10 Somelikeithotbrown (12-1) Returns to the grass for the first time since finishing 3rd in BC Juvy Turf. I'm super curious to see him run today.
Race 9 - #9 Sky Chaser (4-1) Just missed after layoff in last while drifting out. I expect an improved effort off that one.
Race 10 - #4 Quality Special (4-1) 1st try on turf after a nice, battling 2nd place finish on dirt.
Best of luck to all the horse players!
