LSU is better than everyone thought. Was there even one sharp on LSU tonight? I urge the sharps to explain how was South Carolina going to score on LSU?

I say:

LSU -4 against Georgia next week

I still do not think LSU is that great. Their defense is suspect at best. I am not sure Georgia is that good either. LSU won the game vs. South Carolina but it was hardly lopsided and could have gone either way.

They are the two most overrated. Thing is, I think both of their defenses are suspect. Georgia just hasn't faced a team yet that can expose their soft secondary except for Alabama and we saw what they did.

2 most over rated teams in the SEC going at it next week. I'll take the under.

I will almost never bet uga, just stay away from my own team....look at my picks for proof, but if this is a day game (which it will be), georgia wins. we are stonger on both sides of the ball and thrive on the road. i am an honest capper and have done quite well, i dont cheerlead. last year, we got killed by UT, lost to south carolina and barely got by vandy, everyone was screaming about how bad we were, we covered every game for the rest of the year. will this happen again? probably not, but uga wins at lsu next week. wait for the line, but i would guess its around 2

One thing I have noticed about Georgia under Richt is that they seem to get better as the season goes along. The thing that seems the most disturbing to me for Georgia is their offense. Something doesn't seem right about it. They move the ball up and down the field every week it seems but don't put many points on the board. The last two weeks vs. Tennessee and Vanderbilt if you look at the stat box they should have covered pretty easily but just can't seem to put up points to match the offensive production. Seems like they continue to shoot themselves in the foot.

UGA is the Ohio state of the SEC.

Best talent, but never plays up to its talent. If you look at the rosters of the teams in the SEC, I find it hard to believe that any team has more pure talent top to bottom.

yes, UF has speed, but UGA has pros on both sides of the ball and at numerous positions, but they don't have the killer instinct and I think they have a similiar problem to OSU.

They have two holier than thou coaches ( I respect both as people), but I want an ass hole like Urban Meyer coaching my team and stepping on the other team's throat.

LSU should be favored in this one. They are a lot stronger at the line of scrimmage right now than Georgia is and they are playing at home, at night. Georgia may get rolled....

You are nuts if you think Georgia has the best talent overall in the SEC.

How much you want to bet UGA winds up with more players drafted than Florida over the next 4 years?

Do you even know how many players from UGA are hurt this year and how many guys from their defense are going to be drafted?

We are talking college football so save the NFL Draft talk.

They without a doubt have the most talent in the SEC. Stafford is the future first overall pick and Tebow is not even a first day draft choice. Moreno is also a top 10 pick, Florida might not even have a top 20 pick on its roster.

The UGA roster has more talent and will have MUCH more success at the next level. Urban Meyer is a much better coach than Richt though and that might end up being the difference.
