As to naming of the horse, first let me say I am familiar with the cost of the industry, not just the purchase price, but the cost of keeping a horse in training. I am going to assume that the horses you are bringing in from Florida was something you had planned already and part of your normal activity. Don't want you to be expending funds in this endeavor on my accord. Pretty sure that isn't the case, given the expense of the industry and the difficulty in turning a profit on any single horse. So with that being said, thought about your question regarding name preference and think that my first choice would be "OldmanTed" with my second choice being "OMT". If you find those names have been used already, we can discuss other choices in the future. Wouldn't this race call sound good to you? "And down the stretch they come, it's OldmanTed in front by three and widening his lead with every stride.......".
If this comes to pass, I promise you that we will meet, perhaps at the track or the Fishmarket, once and for all.
As for tonight, I have a play on Duke (+2.5) as there was indication yesterday that this line may have peaked and I expected to see Blue Devil money come in today. Currently, that is the case. Perhaps it may go back up slightly with Tarheel money coming back in. If you decide to play tonight's game, make sure you get the very best line you can as it is certainly possible that this game could be close.
