Went by the Imp today to sign up for Wednesday's $250k tournament. Was told they have a super satellite going that will get you a seat in starting in 15 minutes so I decided to play. The manager of the room(Green) made a very good decision for all the tournament players and gave all us a playing very good advantage. On a break I told him that was a great thing he did and gave him my business card and he recognized my name and then I realized who he was to. These casinos need more guys like him running the place for he is a dying breed.

On a sad note the Golden Nugget sportsbook has joined the ranks of the other sweat the money books in town. Lines are now breaking at 150 instead of 190 and limits have been cut down to 1/10th of what they were giving my group. The group is only down 800k in the last 2 trips so I guess I would want to risk losing them too. :monsters-

Who owns the nugget now? Last year this time that sportsbook was a welcome addition to the town.

BTW,
Krackman won a seat into the tournament on Tuesday-Wednesday in the satellite.

He looks to be a forced to be reckoned with in the tournament and will surely be the Rx's favorite entry. Maybe we can get him some prize money and see he bump up his placing the WSOP this year.

They are in the process of getting sold, but still the Poster Financial Group is the ownership. Being lame duck owners I guess we shouldn't be too surprised if they are cutting limits. Last thing they would want is a bad run and then have to hand the keys over to the newest Fertitta in the gaming industry.

Cardfather,
I found it hard to believe that the Royals could leave 24 MOB in a 9 inning game, that would be bases loaded for 8 out of 9 innings. I checked the boxscore and what that 24 MOB means is that the individual Royal hitters, collectively left 24 MOB. In other words, say the first 3
Royals reached base in an inning, and the next 3 Royals struck out; that would be a total of 9 MOB for that inning, not just 3 like we think of when we think of men left on base. Slight difference, but still a terrible offensive performance by the Royals.

Yes, even though I have offended the green dog time and time again, he appears to be a great guy when not drunk. I even cut down my alcohol consumption on victories out of respect for him. No more cognac.

Cigar, glass of wine, jacuzzi and a rubdown for class act Green Dobie.

Cheers dog:toast: OF

Oops, best of luck Krack...:103631605

The Royals simply do not know how to win. They have lost a ton of close games.
