Minnesota -4½ O/U 48½

Rematch of a week one shootout.

Can Favre pull the upset here and hand Minny two losses in a row?

Another clam bake for Green Bay in the Metrodome! The Packers looked at their best last year here as a 7 point favorite and got their clocks cleaned again.Minny has this teams number.I rather lay the money line than the points.
Really who is the better team?

Thanks Lou.Was Minny favored in any of those games or was non-playoff team Green Bay? I can't remember, but I have had the Vikings the last 4 games.
The one that broke my heart was the game last year in Wisconsin.I had the money line with Minny and you saw what happened, the zoo keepers took over and thru hankies in the 4th quarter. Then the fights and cheap shots by the Packers including by Farve. The Vikings put these 2 games down on schedule every year vs Green Bay as their own personal super bowl.
Vikings will make sure the cheese gets stuck in Farves mouth sunday nite. There will a bounty out on Farve as the Vikings will bring the house.

What's up with Brett's Thumb? I will never back a play where the QB might leave the game due to something that was common knowledge beforehand. I will never forget betting Marino on MNF only to have him rip his achilles (okay I could not have known) and watch Kosar flush my wager down the toilet. But I have saved myself some funds avoiding situations where a QB might take a fall.

As for the game itself, and as a Viking fan, I'm concerned that a) the Packers come off a bye, b) barring turnovers, the Packers should move the ball with Ahman Green and c) are the Vikings suffering a small mid-season slump (under Green, the Vikings would start hot, have a mid- to late-season swoon and then pick it up right before the playoffs).

But those are not enough to back the Packers. Favre struggles at the Met, the secondary was shredded by the Rams and I believe the Packers overall defense is soft. This should be a more pumped up Viking team at home on a Sunday night stage.

And the thumb...
