it is one of the all time great lines. when asked why he was opposed to fighting in viet nam clay who was a conscientious objector replied aint no vietcong ever called me n---er. isn't that what we need today people who are not afraid to speak their mind. this administration has everyone so brainwashed that they are afraid to speak their mind or is everyone just apathetic? where is the 60s-70's radicalisim when we need it. bob dylan, marley, muhammad, bobbie seales, huey newton, che guevara, may you live forever.

It was only when the Gov instituted the draft that the protest movement in the US really took off hilo.

Also Vietnam was a proper war, post invasion Iraq is more of a 'police action'

Cheney had not 1 but 5 deferments. When asked why he failed to serve, he replied,"I had more important things to do."

Two great points, Doc...

Clinton was also not born with a silver spoon in his mouth or one up his nose.

Over 50,000 young men should have taken Ali's stance on the war.

Most of them would be alive to this day.

There is nothing proper about fighting another country's civil war. Let them do the fighting, and let them do the dying, and let them bury thier own dead.

Ok, Landass, I'm the enemy. Just because you got ***** slapped by your superiors for spewing red state/blue state drivel on the main board I'm the enemy. That screwed up your raise from $2.00 an hour to $2.05, so you're bitter. You're the wacked out one.
