Been doing the veggie and fish thing now for about two weeks trying to lose a little weight and get the blood pressure way down. I am not a big fan of fish but I want some recipes(love grilling) that will help the ticker out. I hate fish smell but a great piece of Mahi Mahi is fine for me. Just want some meal idea guys and I will let you know how they went! Remember, NO MEAT!!!!!

get about a pound of talapia man, throw in i would say 2/3 cup salsa of your choice and 2/3 cup of sharp cheddar cheese. put the fish in your pan and spread the salsa over first, then throw on the cheese, then crush up some fritos and throw it on top and bake the thing for 15-20 minutes at 400 and you wont have to worry about the fish smell. Use some avocado or sour cream to top with once out of the oven. :103631605

If your looking strictly mahi mahi you can throw some onions, garlic, mushrooms and olive oil in a pan and warm it up. Once it looks like its cooking throw your mahi on top and and add some cooking wine and lemon juice. Cover for like 5 minutes then flip the fish for another 5. Take the fish out and add a little water and cornstarch to the sauce and boil it till it thickens and pour it over the fish. Both of these i make every couple of months.

Drink 3, four ounce glasses of low sodium V-8 every day.

Works like a charm to lower BP...better than meds.

Look into taking fish oil capsules also...they are cheap at Puritans Pride ect.

If you are just looking at heping the heart out and that is it, just take fish oil/flax seed oil as a supplement.

Real food is always better but if you want to use it as if you were a 74 year old man, that would work

  • Line a small bread pan with aluminum foil.
  • Take a filet of sole and place on the foil.
  • Drizzle butter or margarine on filet.
  • Sprinkle paprika over filet.
  • Cook in pre-heated oven at 350 degrees until done (10-15 minutes).
  • Place filet over rice.
