The state governments declaring Draft Kings/Fan Duel and other DFS illegal has had an impact as well i think. For a good stretch, I swear that every other commercial on sports radio was a DFS company -
I think another contributing factor is Peyton being gone and Brady embroiled in this deflate gate mess and suspension. Who is the crossover identifiable "winner" brand athlete (like Arnold Palmer was) ? Peyton was that guy for years. Rodgers ? Cam ? Big Ben ? League just feels lack luster right now aside from the Patriots, but I think their act is wearing thin with the average Joe. Maybe if Brady and Pats start to destroy opponents and roll then it will spark some interest to root for/against the Pats

There is some buzz about pass interference calls being reviewable, we should start a petition right now to block it.
They allow PI to be reviewed in the CFL it makes the game longer most calls seem to stay with the field call. Whats worse the coach can challenge if there was no call, so it a situation like last week with Sherman on Jones - ATL could have challenged that play.
The CFL is the NFL testing ground a few years back they tested the Xtra pt back to where it is today.
I wish the cfl would get rid of this rule and I hope the NFL never brings it in.

Sure, go ahead and interject something more controversial to slow the game down. (reviewing PI calls). Look, good refs aren't always perfect, but how come we often see things happen right in front of refs that appear to be blatantly missed. Replay doesn't fix everything either, take the dodgers game last night for example, call at home was out and for that home plate ump, it was not a missed call, but I firmly believe replay showed him to be safe but MLB did not over turn it for whatever reason.
