I was looking at the prop on the Heisman at Pinnacle. I have listed their current odds at the bottom of this post. The overwhelming favorite has to be Matt Leinhart and the odds reflect this. After Matt, we have Adrian Peterson a Freshman. I exclude him as voters are reluctant to vote this award to a freshman. Kyle Orton, Aaron Rodgers, Jason Campbell and Darrel Hackney just don't have the name recognition it takes to bring home the hardware.

I think Ced Benson has the next best chance and on the outside Jason White has a chance due to him winning last year. A dime on Leinhart and a quarter each on Benson and White would bring home some serious cash at year's end.

Anyone have any info on the others?

Matt Leinhart (USC) +173
Adrian Peterson (OKL) +262
Kyle Orton (Purdue) +515
Aaron Rodgers (CAL) +620
Cedric Benson (Texas) +1048
Reggie Bush (USC) +1950
Jason Campbell (Auburn) +1950
Braylon Edwards (MICH) +2788
Jason White (OKL) +4077
Darrel Hackney (UAB) +10000
Field +718

I would not count out Jason Campbell. He has better stats than Leinhard (qb rating is 180 vs. 157 and practically even in yards, tds, etc.). One could also argue Campbell has less offensive talent to work with than Leinhard. Moveover, he may be the best player on the best team by the time all the dust clears. Auburn is absolutely for real and could go all the way. Campbell is the best value play at 20:1, name recognition aside. Believe me, if Auburn runs the regular season table, he will be a household name.

Here's the breakdown of the profit if you take my suggestion:

Leinhart win:
$1730 - $250 - $250 = $1230

Benson win:
-$1000 + $2620 - $250 = $1370

White win:
-$1000 -$250 + $10192.50 = $8942.50

Perhaps I'll take ppeter's suggesting regarding Jason Campbell and refigure some numbers.

Anyone else?

What's The Odds On Cadilliac Williams
Williams would be a part of "the field" at +718. I'm going to have to do some more considering of Campbell. Thanks for your input guys.
