If they are not a European focused book, why would they call themselves BetEuroSports?

Has to be one of the worst names for a sportsbook ever. I would guess 90% of their target audience would dismiss them based on the name alone.

That said, Nover's article at least cleared that up. I like their site, and they have a ton of betting options. Sort of like 5 Dimes.

Thats not an "Article" thats and "advertisement"

Just because an "article" explains different things about a product, it doesn't mean it is an advertisement. We are trying to write articles that will INFORM Rx.com readers about offshore news, handicapping news and Las Vegas news to make this a more well-rounded site.

Just another FLUFF piece by Stephen (sorry pal).

He hasn't done a STORY in months that dealt with any of the issues we normally discuss in the forum!

One more fluff piece and I he will be mentioned in the same breathe as Lisa G on MNF

I have to disagree with you LV711. Nover flew to Costa Rica to do some stories on offshore books and give ALL the readers (forum and home page) some information they could use.

I don't think these THREE graphs below are an advertisement, but rather some FACTS that prospective customers searching for a new "out" can use.

In 2 ½ months on the job, Colen is attacking his job to prove this isn’t just talk. The first thing he needed to do was clear up a misperception about the company name. BetEuroSport has nothing to do with European sports. It’s strictly American with a few exceptions.

Colen is planning to merge BetEuroSport with Spartan Sports Book, which is the company’s credit shop. Colen hopes to have this site up by November.

“That’s exactly what I said to myself when I first got here,” Colen said. “About 95 percent of our 47 clerks are American. That’s one of the things on which we pride ourselves. I know guys hate to call and talk to some clerk who has a foreign accent they can’t understand.”

In addition, LV711, sometimes things that are discussed in the forum do not lend themselves to stories. Even if they are, it is difficult to get people to go "on the record" about them.

I was wondering the same thing as Lakerfan.. I went there, and was surprised that they had NO lines on any euro sports at all.. Not a single soccer line or anything like that... Very misleading name for the book indeed..

i dont understand they say in that article they are a credit shop also. Is that like the corner bookie system? People betting without posting up? How do they collect? Why would anyone pay them?

BetEurosports name is different - but, for one it is easy to remember and does stand out. I have played there for about 9 months now and they are awesome. Great people and great variety in lines. They are a must have for betting quarters. So many books bitch when you play a lot of halfs and quarters(ie. Infinity, Millennium, etc.) but not these guys. Thanks BetEuro for being different and paying me when I win.
