+1. I'll have to read it, I went with my little brother to pick a book for his girlfriend... I was raving about the film and my brother said they had to turn the movie off because of Affleck, worst thing is that they never made it to the middle of the film when Pike really begins to stand out.
I dont hate, I dont even dislike him as a person, he seems cool. But the guy cant act, true there are 100 worse actors, but there 200 better... Ben Affleck was casted based solely on his looks when he started and then he became notorious with Pearl Harbor (awful movie)... he is popular, just like any of those bimbos that are popular but have no talent. He is no different, wont give him a pass cause he is a dude, to the contrary, Ill judge him harshly.
Batman will be terrible, Val Kilmer will be remembered as a better batman (hope Affleck manages to outperform Clooney). As I understand they wanted an old Batman, a tired batman, They could have used Keaton...
