I have tried to figure out just how to get to the Golden Nugget. Its on Freemont st so is the only way to park at the hotel is to come in from a street in the back. Last thing I need is to be at the end of a long drive and not find the parking garage.

is it FREE? I know that most hotels in Vegas have free parking, but DOWNTOWN may be a little different.

So true about the parking garages at night downtown, they are very scary.

great map. thats what I was looking for. I don't plan on moving the car once I get there. No need to leave what else do you need. food and gambling.

free for hotel guests, show room key when exiting garage.

they give a certain number of hours, if not a guest.... validate ticket at cage.

I think I did this with you one year, when we ate breakfast at Carson St cafe.

Safety isn't too bad at this garage.

Plaza Hotel has free parking but you have to validate your ticket in the Casino before you leave

self park is closer to your room than the front desk is to your room. in other words its a long walk to your room from the front desk /casino.

About equal for South tower rooms, actually.

walk is pretty minor, unlike say MGM Grand.

VALET for $2 a day(tip) .............but I would not leave it in valet for more than 18 hours.

The parking garage on the west side tip-------------WHEN YOU REACH THE FIRST LEVEL, BEGIN TO EXIT AND YOU CAN USUALLY FIND A SPOT JUST BEFORE THE LAST TURN.......if not, a quick backup and your ok.

Unlike what a few have stated here, the GN garage is not that scary, just be on the lookout and be armed.
